Where the numbers come from
Each range is derived from public price data, published provider quotes and market research for the relevant service and category. We do not invent figures and we do not present advertiser pricing as independent data.
How a range is built
We anchor a category to a typical mid-market job size and then express the realistic low and high ends around it. Sub-ranges show how a simple job, a straightforward job, an assessment and a premium or urgent job compare within the same category.
Review and freshness
Ranges are reviewed and re-stamped on a rolling basis. The date shown on a page is the date that page was last reviewed. Prices move, so a range is a planning tool, not a live quote.
Limitations
Local markets vary. A city page is a closer guide than a national one, and a written quote from a provider is the only figure that reflects your actual scope. Read the figures as a starting point for a conversation, not as a final price.
This page is general information, not a quote, an offer or financial advice. Confirm details with a qualified local provider before you act.
